Is it just me or was autumn incredibly short this year?  There was a week in September when it was still nice and then BAM it was suddenly ridiculously chilly.  And now it already feels like winter is slowly descending upon us ( winter is coming ) and boo am I the only one upset that I have this whole autumn section in my closet that is going to have to wait a whole nother year? -super sad panda- Anyway, it must've been that last nice week in September when I took these photos then, in my boho dress and hat, without the need for a jacket. look left look right I've gotten a surprisingly large number of compliments on this super affordable dress from Forever21 and have gotten quite a few wears out of it already.  It's a great loose style too -- I've already shared it with my pretty mama. It can't already be October because I still have so many summer photos to do! [despair emoji here] Looking through my photos, I think these may be the last set I took in the final days of summer 2015, when my parents took me to Guildwood Park. They had gone once before without me but mom knowing my love for parks (especially beautiful ones) said we could go again. And so I told her to get dressed up, we'll bring the tripod, and I'll make a photoshoot day out of it. into the park we go matching shades of blue The park is pretty big with different sections of flowers, sculptures, and decorations, but not everything photographed well in the harsh midday sun. I've been practicing more fashion photography and creating collages lately and so this post will be composed of three outfits, each highlighting a different floral pattern. Using my best fashion blogger descriptors, this is what I have in store for y'all: 1) a bold, vibrant statement dress 2) a professional look in a pastel palette with a porcelain vase bottom (lots of p's) 3) a darker transitioning-to-autumn outfit with a flirty top To start the countdown, here's number three: sitting around, waiting to put my shoes on pretending to be all dramatic how I actually feel: derpy and smiley :) This is the most recent outfit and I was waiting for this batch to complete my flower power trinity. This might very well be my laziest blog post ever. While I've been pretty active lately in taking photos, they've sort of just been accumulating in folders on my hard drive. And even when I manage to go through and edit all of them, I somehow run out of energy to do the write up. Good news: I'm hoping that this photo-heavy post will get the ball rolling in terms of me firing off more blog posts.  The weather is cooling down so I'm thinking I'll have more time spent all cozied up in bed with my laptop + Rocky and focus on photo editing & blog posting.
